Certified Elementary Registered Behavior Technician - College Station, TX

Step into a rewarding contract role serving students as a Registered Behavior Technician. Work alongside experienced educators in elementary, middle, and high school settings to provide 1:1 and classroom behavioral support where you can make a direct impact on student success. This opportunity, situated close to College Station, TX, requires immediate start through the remainder of the school year, with the likelihood for renewal and potential summer assignments.

Your expertise and commitment will be put to use in one of two priority placements: (1) Providing key support within an elementary behavior classroom, or (2) Assisting across campuses with a Life Skills caseload, focusing on students requiring more advanced support. Candidates with CPI training or familiarity managing more aggressive behaviors are especially encouraged for the second position.

Preferred experience and requirements:

• Certification as a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT)
• Prior experience in school environments is ideal
• Strong preference for candidates with substantial behavioral/RBT backgrounds
• CPI training and/or experience with challenging/aggressive caseloads considered an asset
• Comfortable working across elementary, middle, and high school settings
• Flexible, compassionate, and adaptable to the unique needs of young learners

Role responsibilities:

• Implement behavior intervention plans with fidelity on a 1:1 and small group basis
• Collaborate with teachers, specialists, and staff to promote positive student outcomes
• Collect and document accurate behavioral data
• Support students in life skills development and classroom integration
• Assist with crisis de-escalation when needed, ensuring a safe environment for all
