Certified 1:1 Registered Behavior Technician in College Station, TX

Bring your expertise as a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) to a rewarding contract role supporting students in diverse school settings near College Station, TX. You’ll play a pivotal role in either an elementary classroom focusing on behavior support or across campuses assisting the Life Skills program, including work with students exhibiting more challenging behaviors. Qualifications & Experience:

• Active RBT certification required
• Experience in school settings strongly preferred, but strong RBT/ABA backgrounds considered
• Previous exposure to elementary, middle, or high school environments valued
• CPI certification or direct experience with aggressive behaviors strongly preferred for Life Skills support roles
• Ability to excel in a 1:1 student support environment

Responsibilities:

• Provide consistent 1:1 or small group behavior support in assigned classrooms
• Implement individualized treatment or behavior intervention plans under supervision of BCBA/behavior specialist
• Work collaboratively with teachers, counselors, and other educational staff
• Assist with documentation, data collection, and behavior tracking
• Foster a safe, respectful environment, especially in classrooms with behavioral or life skills needs
• Respond professionally and appropriately to challenging behaviors

Details & Schedule:

• Full-time, contract-based position
• Typical hours are 7:15am–3:30pm, adhering to standard school days and operational schedules
