You’ll play a pivotal role in either an elementary classroom focusing on behavior support or across campuses assisting the Life Skills program, including work with students exhibiting more challenging behaviors. This hands-on position is ideal for candidates passionate about making a measurable difference in kids’ lives.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Active RBT certification required
- Experience in school settings strongly preferred, but strong RBT/ABA backgrounds considered
- Previous exposure to elementary, middle, or high school environments valued
- CPI certification or direct experience with aggressive behaviors strongly preferred for Life Skills support roles
- Ability to excel in a 1:1 student support environment
Responsibilities:
- Provide consistent 1:1 or small group behavior support in assigned classrooms
- Implement individualized treatment or behavior intervention plans under supervision of BCBA/behavior specialist
- Work collaboratively with teachers, counselors, and other educational staff
- Assist with documentation, data collection, and behavior tracking
- Foster a safe, respectful environment, especially in classrooms with behavioral or life skills needs
- Respond professionally and appropriately to challenging behaviors
Details & Schedule:
- Full-time, contract-based position
- Typical hours are 7:15am–3:30pm, adhering to standard school days and operational schedules
