Ignite your passion for student support in a rewarding, school-based Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) position. This contract opportunity offers meaningful impact across a range of age groups, from elementary through high school, focusing on individualized and group behavioral support.

You will work in dynamic learning environments, including:

  • Elementary campus supporting students in behavioral classrooms
  • Cross-campus/Life Skills settings assisting students who may exhibit more challenging behaviors

As a valued member of these teams, you will collaborate with educational staff and families to promote positive, constructive learning experiences.

Key Qualifications & Experience:

  • Active RBT certification required
  • Experience in school settings highly preferred but not mandatory
  • Demonstrated background working with behavioral interventions, especially supporting aggressive or high-needs caseloads
  • CPI training or direct experience managing challenging behaviors is highly valued for Life Skills support
  • Comfortable working primarily 1:1 or small group within diverse school settings
  • Ability to adapt to evolving classroom needs and communicate clearly with teachers and multidisciplinary teams

Core Responsibilities:

  • Deliver direct behavioral interventions and support students using evidence-based ABA strategies
  • Collaborate closely with teachers, therapists, and other professionals to implement individualized behavior plans
  • Track and document student progress according to school protocols
  • Provide crisis intervention and de-escalation as needed
  • Foster an inclusive and safe learning environment for all students served
  • Participate in ongoing communication with families and educational teams

This contract runs through the end of the school year, with the potential for renewal and summer opportunities. Typical hours are 7:15am–3:30pm, with some variation according to campus needs.
