Elementary Middle School Registered Behavior Technician in College Station, TX

The schedule runs from 7:15am to 3:30pm, supporting school days for the remainder of the year, with specific openings in two key areas:
— Elementary behavior support classrooms
— Cross-campus Life Skills support, focusing on students with more aggressive behaviors (Professionals with CPI certification or experience on high-intensity caseloads are strongly encouraged to apply)

Key Qualifications:

• Certified Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) credential
• Previous school experience is highly valued; strong RBT or behavior technician experience is most essential
• CPI training or proven experience managing aggressive behaviors is a plus
• Capacity to work 1:1 and in a group context with students ages elementary through high school
• Passion for creating a supportive, safe environment tailored to individual student needs

Responsibilities:

• Deliver direct behavioral support to students in elementary and Life Skills classrooms
• Work closely with teachers and school staff to create and implement behavior plans
• Assist with crisis intervention and de-escalation, using approved strategies
• Document student progress and collaborate in IEP or team meetings where appropriate
