This full-time position offers you the chance to make a meaningful impact by providing one-on-one support to a 3rd grade elementary student, as well as offering classroom assistance alongside a dedicated team. Your work will be closely integrated with an experienced district BCBA, allowing for professional growth and collaborative problem-solving.

This role is best suited for individuals passionate about making a difference in the lives of young learners. While a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) credential is highly valued, candidates with demonstrated experience supporting children with special needs and managing behavioral interventions are strongly encouraged to apply.

Key Qualifications:

  • Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification preferred, but not required
  • Previous experience working with children, especially those with special needs or behavioral differences
  • Familiarity with principles of behavioral intervention and individualized student support
  • Ability to communicate effectively and collaborate with teachers, BCBA, and other school staff
  • Dependable, compassionate, and eager to contribute to a positive learning environment

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Provide daily one-on-one support to a 3rd grade student
  • Assist within the classroom setting, fostering a positive and inclusive atmosphere
  • Collaborate closely with the assigned BCBA to implement individualized behavioral plans
  • Track student progress and assist with documentation
  • Use evidence-based strategies to encourage positive behaviors and support academic engagement

Enjoy the benefit of consistent weekday hours: Monday through Friday, 7:45am to 3:15pm, onsite with no weekends required. The assignment runs from August 7, 2026, through May 25, 2027, offering long-term stability and the chance to build lasting professional relationships.
