During ESY, you’ll work one-on-one with a student, providing consistency and support. While not required, those comfortable offering in-home services are encouraged to apply, as this flexibility is valued.
Desired Experience and Qualifications:
- Active Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification
- Previous experience working in schools, particularly K-12 settings
- Proficiency with Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) methods and principles
- Ability to conduct FBAs and implement BIPs
- Skilled in de-escalation and teaching coping mechanisms
- Confidence in delivering direct, hands-on behavioral therapy
- Openness to possibly providing in-home ABA services for students (preferred, not mandatory)
- Professionalism, compassion, and strong communication skills
