Desired Experience and Qualifications:
- Current certification as a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT)
- Active licensure as required by state regulations
- Experience supporting students in elementary, middle, or high school settings
- Knowledge of behavioral intervention strategies and ABA principles
- Ability to work independently with a 1:1 student focus
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Skilled at maintaining accurate documentation of progress and services
- Flexibility to adapt to the needs of different age groups and learning environments
Key Responsibilities:
- Implement individualized behavior intervention plans under the supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA)
- Work directly with students in a 1:1 setting, reinforcing positive behaviors and supporting academic engagement
- Collect and record data on student progress and behavior
- Communicate regularly with teachers, administrators, and parents about strategies and student achievements
- Adjust techniques based on ongoing feedback and observed student needs
- Maintain confidentiality and ethical standards in all interactions
