Step into a fulfilling role making a difference as a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) supporting students in Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) classrooms. This contract opportunity will have you working closely in a 1:1 setting, helping students grow and succeed throughout the extended school year (ESY), and into the new school year (NSY).

Bring your expertise as an RBT and work collaboratively with educators during CYS, ESY, and while planning for NSY services. Each student in the ASD program is assigned a dedicated RBT, ensuring individualized support and attention. Qualifications and Preferred Experience:

  • Active Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification required
  • Experience working with children or adolescents with ASD preferred
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Commitment to maintaining confidentiality and following ethical guidelines
  • Ability to follow behavior support plans and data collection protocols accurately

Role Responsibilities:

  • Implement individualized behavior intervention plans in 1:1 classroom settings
  • Collect and record data on student progress and behavior
  • Collaborate with teachers and support staff to support student goals
  • Promote a safe, encouraging, and inclusive learning environment
  • Adapt support strategies as guided by student needs and team input

Schedule & Details:

  • 35 hours/week for CYS; ESY runs 4 days/week, 8am-12pm
  • 40 hours/week beginning in the fall for NSY
  • An excellent opportunity for summer work continuity
  • BCBA supervision begins in the fall (placements may be held until support is available)
