High School Middle School Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) - Currituck, NC

Essential Qualifications:

• Active Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification and licensure
• Certification to work as an RBT in educational environments
• Previous experience supporting students in elementary, middle, or high school preferred
• Strong communication skills with staff, students, and parents
• Proficiency in implementing individualized behavior intervention plans
• Ability to collaborate effectively within a multidisciplinary school team

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver 1:1 behavior support to students, implementing evidence-based strategies as outlined in student plans
• Collect and document behavioral data consistently and accurately
• Work closely with Behavior Analysts and special education staff to monitor progress and adjust interventions
• Foster a positive, supportive environment for student learning and social development
• Communicate observations and updates regarding student behavior to teachers, parents, and administrators
• Participate in ongoing training and meetings as required by the school
