Desired Skills and Qualifications:

  • Active Registered Behavior Technician(RBT) certification is required
  • Previous experience working with children or students, preferably in a school or related setting
  • Solid understanding of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) strategies and practices
  • Ability to follow Behavior Intervention Plans (BIPs) and work closely with Board-Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs)
  • Strong communication skills to collaborate with teachers, school staff, and families
  • Patience, empathy, and adaptability in working with diverse student populations

Key Responsibilities:

  • Implement individualized ABA interventions under the supervision of a BCBA
  • Collect and maintain accurate behavioral data and session notes
  • Support students in achieving behavioral objectives in classroom and school environments
  • Reinforce positive behaviors and provide guidance to redirect challenging behaviors
  • Communicate ongoing progress to supervising clinicians and participate in team meetings
  • Foster a supportive, respectful, and inclusive atmosphere for all students
