Registered Behavior Technician - Danbury, CT

Key Qualifications:

• Active Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification required
• Previous experience supporting students with behavioral challenges, preferably in a middle school setting
• Strong understanding of applied behavior analysis (ABA) principles
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to remain patient, proactive, and flexible when managing challenging behaviors
• Experience with data collection and reporting is a plus

Primary Responsibilities:

• Deliver direct 1:1 behavioral interventions to a designated middle school student
• Collect and document behavioral data as required by the student’s individualized plan
• Work collaboratively with teachers, school staff, and other professionals to support student goals
• Implement evidence-based strategies and interventions under supervision of Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs)
• Participate in team meetings and contribute to progress reviews
• Maintain a safe, positive, and encouraging environment for the student
