Qualifications:

  • Active Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification required
  • Recent experience working with children or adolescents in a school or similar setting preferred
  • Understanding of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) techniques and data collection principles
  • Strong interpersonal and verbal communication skills for effective student and staff interaction
  • Ability to remain patient, flexible, and responsive in a dynamic school environment
  • Willingness to follow established behavioral intervention plans and contribute positively to a team
  • Ability to pass background and health screenings as required by education agencies

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Deliver one-on-one and small-group behavioral support in classroom and school environments
  • Implement individualized behavior intervention plans under the supervision of BCBA or other leaders
  • Collect accurate data on student progress and behaviors, ensuring timely documentation
  • Communicate daily with teachers, therapists, and families regarding student achievements and concerns
  • Assist with crisis prevention and de-escalation as needed, ensuring a safe environment for all
  • Promote positive behavior and social skills through consistent modeling and encouragement
