Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) – Full-Time School Position

Onsite | Middle School Setting

We are currently seeking a dedicated Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) for a full-time, 1:1 school-based position supporting a middle school student with autism.

Position Details

• Schedule: Monday–Friday

• Hours: 32–37.5 hours per week

• Setting: Middle School

• Position Type: 1:1 Student Support

Student Needs

The student has an autism diagnosis and is currently exhibiting challenging behaviors. The ideal candidate will have strong behavior management skills, patience, consistency, and experience working within a school setting.

Requirements

• Active RBT Certification required

• Previous school-based and/or behavioral experience preferred

• Experience supporting students with autism and challenging behaviors strongly preferred

• Ability to collaborate effectively with teachers, staff, and families

Responsibilities

• Provide direct 1:1 behavioral support throughout the school day

• Implement behavior intervention plans and collect data

• Support the student’s academic, social, and behavioral goals

• Collaborate with the educational team and supervising BCBA

• Maintain professionalism, consistency, and confidentiality
