Registered Behavior Technician in Davis, CA

Make a meaningful impact each day by supporting a first-grade student as a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) in a dynamic educational setting near Woodland, CA. In this contract role, you will provide dedicated, one-on-one behavioral support for a student in a general education classroom. Work as part of a collaborative team, partnering closely with a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) and a classroom paraeducator to deliver targeted interventions and help the student reach their potential.

Key Qualifications:

• Active RBT certification required.
• Experience working in school settings, especially with elementary-aged students.
• Strong understanding of behavioral intervention plans (BIP).
• Ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams.
• Skilled in managing and redirecting intense behaviors such as attention-seeking and avoidance.
• Compassionate, patient, and adaptable communication style.
• Commitment to consistent documentation and data collection.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Work directly with a 1st grade student on a daily basis, providing one-on-one support.
• Implement and monitor individualized behavioral intervention strategies as outlined by the BCBA.
• Consistently document progress, behavior, and interventions.
• Collaborate with the paraeducator and general education staff to create a supportive and structured environment.
• Participate in regular meetings with the BCBA to adjust strategies and track progress.
• Encourage positive social and academic engagement in the classroom.
