Registered Behavior Technician in Davis, CA

Opportunity for a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) contract position in the Woodland, CA area, focusing on supporting a 1st-grade student in a general education setting. This role requires collaboration with a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to implement Behavior Intervention Plans (BIP) and provide one-on-one behavioral support.

Key Qualifications and Experience:

• Certified Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) credential
• Experience working with young children exhibiting intense behaviors
• Ability to collaborate effectively with BCBAs and educational staff
• Skills in behavior intervention techniques focused on attention-seeking and avoidance behaviors
• Experience supporting students in general education settings is preferred
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities

Location: Woodland, CA

Contract Dates: ASAP start through June 5, 2026

Hours: 35 hours per week

Responsibilities:

• Provide one-on-one behavioral support to a first-grade male student
• Collaborate closely with a BCBA to implement and adjust Behavior Intervention Plans
• Address behaviors such as attention-seeking and avoidance in the classroom
• Work alongside a para-educator assigned to assist in the classroom
• Support the student’s engagement and success in the general education environment

Compensation: Competitive hourly rate ranging from $30 to $45 per hour
