Registered Behavior Technician in Davis, CA

You’ll work closely with a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) and a dedicated paraprofessional, providing individualized, one-on-one support to a student exhibiting intense behaviors, with attentiveness to both attention-seeking and avoidance patterns. This collaboration ensures a consistent approach to implementing a Behavior Intervention Plan (BIP) and encourages professional development in a team-oriented environment. Qualifications and Desired Experience:

• Current RBT certification is required
• Experience working in school settings or with elementary-aged children preferred
• Familiarity with evidence-based ABA practices and BIP implementation
• Ability to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams, including BCBAs and paraprofessionals
• Exceptional communication skills, patience, and a genuine passion for supporting children with behavioral needs

Primary Responsibilities:

• Provide direct one-on-one behavioral intervention to a 1st grade student within the general education setting
• Follow structured BIP protocols and collaborate with the BCBA and classroom staff
• Collect accurate data and report progress regularly
