Key Qualifications:
- Active Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification
- Prior experience working with children or adolescents, preferably in school or educational environments
- Strong understanding of ABA (Applied Behavior Analysis) principles and techniques
- Exceptional communication, collaboration, and interpersonal skills
- Ability to adapt to diverse student needs and contribute positively to school teams
- Commitment to maintaining confidentiality and adhering to ethical standards
Primary Responsibilities:
- Implement individualized behavior intervention plans under the supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA)
- Record and report data accurately on student progress and behavioral responses
- Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and other support staff to maximize student outcomes
- Encourage positive behaviors and model appropriate social skills in classroom or small group settings
- Assist in developing and adapting materials to reinforce learning goals and behavioral supports
- Provide support during transitions, classroom activities, and other school routines as needed
