Qualifications and Experience:
- Active Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification required
- Current state licensure as necessary for RBTs
- Experience working in school settings (elementary, middle, or high school preferred)
- Strong understanding of ABA principles and behavioral intervention techniques
- Knowledge of IEP and BIP processes is a plus
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills for engaging with staff, students, and families
- Compassionate, patient, and solutions-focused approach
Responsibilities:
- Carry out tailored 1:1 behavioral interventions with students
- Record and report data on student progress and response to interventions
- Work alongside teachers and school staff to adapt strategies for each student’s unique needs
- Participate in team meetings and contribute to the development and adjustment of behavioral goals
- Maintain a professional, respectful, and supportive presence in school environments
