Registered Behavior Technician (RBT)

Location: East Greenwich, RI
Setting: School-Based (Integrated Pre-School Classroom)
Schedule: Full-Time preferred (9:15 AM – 3:30 PM) | Part-Time option available (9:00 AM – 12:00 PM)
Work Days: Monday – Thursday (Pre-school closed on Fridays)

Qualifications

• Active RBT certification required
• Experience working with preschool-aged students preferred
• Experience supporting students with autism and communication needs
• Strong behavior management and collaboration skills
• Ability to work in a structured classroom environment

Pay: $25+ per hour, based on experience

Position Details

• 1:1 support for a preschool student
• Student has autism, communication needs, short attention span, and high energy
• Classroom includes 8 students with support from a SPED teacher and 2 paraprofessionals
• Supportive, team-based environment

Key Responsibilities

• Provide 1:1 behavioral support to assigned student
• Implement behavior intervention plans (BIPs)
• Support communication and social skill development
• Collaborate with SPED teacher, paraprofessionals, and related staff
• Track data and maintain accurate documentation
