Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) | Eclectic, Alabama

Make a significant impact on elementary students’ lives as a Registered Behavior Technician. This contract opportunity starts September 23, 2026, and continues through January 11, 2027, covering a maternity leave. You'll work closely with students in an engaging school environment, supporting their learning and behavioral goals.

Key qualifications to succeed in this role:

• Valid RBT certification required
• Prior experience working under a BCBA in a school or pediatric setting preferred
• Understanding of behavior intervention strategies and individualized education plans (IEPs)
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to work collaboratively with students, families, and school staff
• Demonstrated ability to implement ABA therapy and data collection accurately
• Passion for supporting children’s developmental and social skills

Primary responsibilities include:

• Providing direct one-on-one behavioral support to elementary students in alignment with individualized behavioral plans
• Implementing interventions designed by a BCBA and modeling positive reinforcement techniques
• Collecting thorough and accurate data on student behaviors and progress
• Collaborating regularly with teachers, therapists, and school staff to integrate support for each student
• Participating in meetings to review progress, adjust intervention plans, and provide input on student development
• Maintaining strict confidentiality and adhering to professional standards in all aspects of care
