Based near Woodland, CA, this full-time position offers the chance to work closely with a dedicated team in a collaborative, student-centered environment from now through early June 2026.
Key Qualifications:
- Active RBT certification required
- Experience working with children exhibiting intense behavioral challenges strongly preferred
- Skilled in implementing Behavior Intervention Plans (BIP)
- Knowledge of reinforcement strategies, data collection, and progress monitoring
- Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate with BCBAs and paraprofessionals
- Patience, adaptability, and a calm, proactive approach to behavior support
Primary Responsibilities:
- Provide consistent one-on-one support to a first-grade student in a general education setting
- Collaborate daily with the supervising BCBA and assigned paraprofessional to deliver targeted interventions
- Implement the prescribed BIP, focusing on decreasing attention-seeking and avoidance behaviors
- Assist in data collection and reporting on student progress toward behavioral goals
- Apply positive support strategies and model appropriate behaviors
- Foster an inclusive, safe, and encouraging learning environment for the student
- Participate in training and team meetings as needed
