A Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) role is available in Woodland, CA, working within a school setting from ASAP through June 5, 2026. This contract position involves providing one-on-one behavioral support for a first-grade male student with intense behaviors in a general education environment.
Responsibilities include collaborating closely with a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to implement and follow the student's Behavior Intervention Plan (BIP). The ideal candidate will address behaviors such as attention-seeking and avoidance while supporting academic and social engagement. This position requires working alongside a paraprofessional assigned to assist the student.
Key Qualifications:
- Current Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification
- Experience working with school-aged children, preferably in general education settings
- Ability to implement Behavior Intervention Plans and document data effectively
- Strong collaboration skills to work with BCBAs and other educational staff
- Experience managing intense behaviors such as avoidance and attention-seeking
