Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) | Elk Grove, California

Make a meaningful difference in a school setting as a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) working one-on-one with a first-grade student in a general education classroom. This contract position is conveniently located in Woodland, CA, providing an excellent opportunity for dedicated RBTs to collaborate closely with a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) and be part of a supportive educational team.

Key Requirements:

• Active RBT certification required
• Previous experience working in schools or with students exhibiting intense behaviors strongly preferred
• Familiarity with implementing Behavior Intervention Plans (BIP)
• Strong communication and collaboration skills
• Ability to remain patient, positive, and solution-focused in challenging situations
• Comfortable working closely with a paraeducator as part of a support team

Position Details and Responsibilities:

• Contract assignment from ASAP through June 5, 2026
• Full-time, 35 hours per week
• Provide individualized, evidence-based behavioral support to a first-grade student
• Support a student displaying attention-seeking and avoidance behaviors in a general education setting
• Closely collaborate with the assigned paraeducator and BCBA to consistently implement the BIP
• Collect and document relevant behavioral data
• Model positive behavior management strategies
• Adapt instructional approaches to support social, academic, and emotional growth

Compensation ranges from $30 to $45 per hour, reflecting experience and expertise.
