Qualifications and Background:

• Current Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification is required.
• Experience supporting children or adolescents with autism or behavior challenges in educational settings.
• Working knowledge of behavioral intervention plans and data collection methods.
• Ability to communicate clearly and collaborate effectively with educators, students, and families.
• Dedication to maintaining a patient, empathetic, and positive approach.

Responsibilities:

• Implement individualized behavior intervention plans in coordination with Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs) and special education staff.
• Collect and document observable behavioral data to inform interventions and track progress.
• Provide direct support to students during classroom lessons, transitions, and activities.
• Model positive behavior strategies and reinforce skill development throughout the school day.
• Maintain confidentiality and adhere to ethical standards within all interactions.
• Participate in team meetings and professional development as requested.
