Are you a dedicated Registered Behavior Technician seeking a meaningful role supporting students in school environments? This contract opportunity near Elon, NC is ideal for a skilled RBT who is passionate about making a measurable impact in the lives of students with significant behavioral needs.

You'll be working full-time, Monday through Friday, from 8:15 am to 3:45 pm (with a 30-minute unpaid lunch), providing one-on-one support for a student who may display aggressive and challenging behaviors. Your expertise will help foster a safe, supportive learning experience through consistent behavior interventions and positive reinforcement strategies.

Qualifications & Desired Experience:

  • Current, active Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification is required
  • Extensive experience working with students who exhibit aggressive or challenging behaviors
  • Comfortable and capable of implementing individualized behavior management plans in a school setting
  • Ability to react with patience, empathy, and professionalism in high-intensity situations
  • Strong collaborative skills to partner with educators and related service professionals
  • Male candidates are preferred, as requested by the district for this specific student assignment

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide dedicated 1:1 behavior support to a student exhibiting significant behavioral needs
  • Implement school-approved behavior intervention strategies, documenting progress and incidents
  • Employ ABA techniques and data collection to support student goals
  • Collaborate with teachers, school psychologists, and families for continuity of care
  • Support a positive and inclusive school climate through reliable, compassionate engagement
