Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) | Encinitas, California

Qualifications and Experience:

• Current RBT certification required
• Experience in a school setting or working with children and adolescents strongly preferred
• Ability to implement behavioral intervention plans under the guidance of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA)
• Effective communication skills for collaboration with educators, students, and families
• Knowledge of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) principles
• Flexibility and adaptability to meet individual student needs

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide direct one-on-one and small group behavioral support to students
• Collect accurate data and maintain thorough documentation of student progress and behaviors
• Implement specific intervention and behavior management plans as directed by supervisory staff
• Assist in developing classroom strategies for positive behavioral change
• Maintain a safe, supportive learning environment for all students
• Participate in team meetings and ongoing training to stay current with best practices
