Qualifications:

  • Must hold an OSPI Paraeducator Certification or have an Associate’s Degree.
  • Active Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) credential preferred.
  • Prior experience supporting students in a school environment is valuable.
  • Strong interpersonal, communication, and observational skills.
  • Ability to implement behavior intervention and support plans under the supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) or special education staff.

Responsibilities:

  • Work one-on-one or in small groups with K–12 students to support behavioral and academic goals.
  • Assist with the implementation of individualized education and behavioral plans.
  • Document student progress and report observations to supervising staff.
  • Foster a positive, inclusive environment that encourages student growth.
  • Collaborate with teachers, therapists, and other support staff to reinforce strategies and assure consistency.
