Key Skills & Experience:
- Current BCBA certification or Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) credential required
- Experience working with students diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder or ADHD highly desirable
- Background working in school settings or providing behavioral support to children preferred
- Strong communication, teamwork, and organizational skills
- Commitment to supporting children’s individual growth and fostering a positive learning environment
Primary Responsibilities:
- Provide direct, one-on-one behavioral support to a 1st grade student in the Extended School Year program
- Develop, implement, and track individualized behavior intervention plans under guidance from school leadership
- Collaborate effectively with teachers, support staff, and administration to monitor progress and adjust interventions as needed
- Document strategies, participant data, and ongoing observations in accordance with program standards
- Use evidence-based practices to encourage social, emotional, and academic growth
- Engage with families and caregivers to facilitate continuity of care and support
