Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) | Farmington, Maine

This contract opportunity offers 27.5–30 hours each week with a focus on meaningful, hands-on work that impacts students’ daily lives.

Qualifications & Skills:

• Active RBT certification required
• Experience working in school environments strongly preferred
• Knowledge of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) principles and techniques
• Ability to implement individualized behavior intervention plans under supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst
• Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate with teachers, specialists, and families
• Demonstrated patience, empathy, and a commitment to fostering positive change
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to keep accurate records

Your Responsibilities:

• Deliver 1:1 or small group ABA-based interventions supporting students’ behavioral and social success
• Closely monitor and collect data on student progress, documenting outcomes as directed
• Collaborate with educators to reinforce strategies and modify interventions as needed
• Participate in team meetings, sharing observations and feedback to develop effective solutions
• Provide guidance and encouragement, promoting independence and confidence for students with behavioral needs
