Make a real difference supporting students as a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) in a dynamic school setting near Fremont, CA. This contract opportunity places you at the forefront of positive behavioral interventions, providing vital support to students with autism and related disabilities. Using evidence-based practices, you'll work closely with school staff and families to foster a nurturing and productive learning environment.

Key Qualifications:

  • Active RBT certification required
  • Previous experience in a school or pediatric setting preferred
  • Understanding of ABA (Applied Behavior Analysis) principles and data collection methods
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills
  • Ability to implement behavior intervention plans under BCBA supervision
  • Commitment to supporting diverse student needs

Core Responsibilities:

  • Deliver direct one-on-one and small-group ABA therapy to students
  • Collect and record data on student progress and behaviors
  • Collaborate with teachers, therapists, and the supervising BCBA to adjust intervention strategies
  • Participate in team meetings and contribute to IEP development, when appropriate
  • Foster a supportive, inclusive classroom climate
  • Communicate regularly with families and school staff regarding student progress
