Registered Behavior Technician in Fremont, CA

Key Qualifications:

• Active RBT certification through the BACB
• Experience working with children or adolescents, especially in a school, clinical, or community environment
• Familiarity with implementing behavior intervention plans and ABA strategies
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration with educators, therapists, and families
• Ability to document data accurately and efficiently
• Flexibility, adaptability, and a commitment to supporting diverse learners

Primary Responsibilities:

• Implement 1:1 or small-group ABA-based behavioral interventions as determined in Individualized Education Plans (IEPs)
• Work closely with supervising BCBAs to monitor student progress and adjust interventions as needed
• Collect data on student behaviors and interventions, maintaining thorough and confidential records
• Support teachers and staff in fostering inclusive, positive learning environments
• Assist with crisis prevention and de-escalation when necessary
• Attend team meetings, training sessions, and professional development opportunities
