This contract role offers the opportunity to partner with a collaborative school-based team, focusing on effective behavior interventions that help young learners thrive in the classroom.
What you'll bring:
- Active and current Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification
- Previous experience working with school-aged children, ideally in an elementary setting
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills to partner well with students and staff
- The ability to deliver direct behavioral intervention services with patience and professionalism
- A commitment to following individualized student programs and collecting data consistently
- Flexibility to adapt strategies and collaborate with district technicians and aides
What you'll do:
- Provide one-on-one and small group behavioral support to 5-6 elementary students
- Work closely with district Behavior Technicians and Aides to implement treatment plans
- Assist in developing strategies to increase positive behaviors and reduce barriers to learning
- Document session notes, track student progress, and communicate updates with the team
- Participate in regular team meetings and contribute to collaborative planning for student success
- Foster a supportive, safe, and encouraging environment for students
This part-time opportunity offers 20 hours per week, creating a balanced schedule throughout the semester while dedicating your expertise to building student skills. You'll play a key role in supporting students’ growth and opening doors for their continued success.
