Make a genuine impact every day by contributing to the growth and success of children as a Full-Time Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) in an elementary school environment near Gig Harbor, WA. You'll play a key role in supporting students through individualized Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) therapy, collaborating with a dedicated team, and helping children achieve meaningful progress.
Responsibilities include:
- Delivering 1:1 ABA therapy to children with autism and related developmental disabilities in an elementary school setting
- Following customized treatment plans crafted by a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA)
- Tracking and documenting clear, detailed session data
- Supporting skill development and behavioral improvement programs
- Maintaining ongoing, professional communication with supervisors, caregivers, and team members
- Participating in required training, supervision, and team meetings
- Upholding ethical standards and professionalism at all times
Qualifications or desired experience:
- Active Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification
- High school diploma or equivalent (associate’s or bachelor’s degree is a plus)
- Previous experience working with children is preferred but not mandatory
- Excellent communication, organization, and interpersonal abilities
- Reliable transportation and a valid driver’s license (if travel is needed)
- Capable of passing a background check and fulfilling all state requirements
