Seeking a skilled professional experienced in behavioral intervention to support staff and students during the academic year. This full-time, onsite contract (37.5 hours per week) offers the opportunity to make a significant impact in both general and special education settings between August 6th, 2026 and May 27th, 2027.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Train educational staff in effective behavioral intervention strategies tailored for diverse classroom settings.
  • Design and support coherent instruction and curriculum to encourage socially acceptable student behavior.
  • Guide the development and implementation of Functional Behavioral Assessments (FBA) and Behavioral Intervention Plans (BIP).
  • Collaborate with the IEP team to create and enact individualized intervention plans aligned with student goals and outcomes; provide training and ongoing support to school staff.
  • Observe student behavior, document intervention strategies, and monitor progress for both students and staff.
  • Assist educational teams in collecting, analyzing, and interpreting behavioral data for continuous improvement.
  • Participate as appropriate in the Teacher Assistant Team (TAT) process.
  • Promote family engagement in the evaluation process for special education services.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Social Work, Counseling, Psychology, Behavioral Science, Applied Behavior Analysis, or related field OR
  • Bachelor’s degree in education/special education with at least five years’ experience with students with behavioral/emotional disabilities OR
  • Master’s degree in education/special education with three years’ experience in related settings.
  • Current Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) credentials required.
  • Valid Arizona Identity Verified Prints (IVP) Fingerprint Clearance Card.
  • Bilingual (Spanish/English) skills preferred.
  • Experience with PBIS/PBS and diverse populations strongly preferred.
  • Demonstrated ability to work with children with behavioral and emotional needs.
