This contract opportunity calls for an experienced and compassionate Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) to work one-on-one with a student who requires intensive behavioral interventions. The position runs through June 10, 2027, offering steady hours and the chance to make a true difference every day.

Key Qualifications:

  • Active Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification required
  • Prior experience working with students exhibiting aggressive or challenging behaviors
  • Skilled in implementing a range of behavior management strategies in an educational environment
  • Comfort and confidence in addressing significant behavioral needs
  • Demonstrated professionalism, patience, and adaptability
  • The district strongly prefers male candidates for this assignment

Core Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct one-on-one behavioral support during school hours, Monday through Friday, 8:15 am – 3:45 pm (37.5 hours weekly, 30-minute unpaid lunch)
  • Consistently implement individualized behavior intervention plans under the supervision of Board-Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs) or school staff
  • Track data and document progress, maintaining confidentiality and accuracy
  • Collaborate closely with educators, therapists, and families to ensure the student’s safety and success
  • Proactively deescalate and safely manage aggressive behaviors as needed, always prioritizing student and staff well-being
