Registered Behavior Technician in Greer, SC

Qualifications & Desired Experience:

• Current certification as a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT)
• Experience in educational or clinical settings working with children, preferably elementary age
• Comfortable with behavior management, including implementing verbal redirections and de-escalation strategies
• Ability to remain calm and patient in challenging situations
• Strong communication and documentation skills
• Previous work with 2:1 environments or similar caseloads is a plus

Responsibilities:

• Provide direct behavioral intervention under the supervision of a BCBA
• Carry out behavior intervention plans, focusing on strategies to reduce work avoidance and manage escalations
• Use positive reinforcement, verbal redirection, and data collection to support student progress
• Collaborate with teachers and BCBA to adjust interventions and report on student progress
• Foster a safe, supportive environment that encourages student development and independence
