Licensed Middle School Registered Behavior Technician in Happy Valley, OR

Qualifications and Skills:

• Active RBT (Registered Behavior Technician) certification, with current license
• Experience working in school settings (elementary, middle, or high school)
• Familiarity providing 1:1 support to students with behavioral or developmental needs
• Ability to effectively implement behavior intervention plans as guided by supervising BCBA and school protocols
• Strong communication skills for collaborating with teachers, administrators, and parents/guardians
• Organized, adaptable approach and a passion for helping children and adolescents succeed in academic and social settings

Primary Responsibilities:

• Deliver one-on-one support, following tailored behavior intervention plans for individual students
• Collect data and document student progress accurately and efficiently
• Collaborate with other professionals, including teachers and special education staff, to ensure continuity of care and educational support
• Assist in creating a supportive, safe, and inclusive classroom environment
• Adjust strategies as needed based on individual student responses and feedback
• Attend relevant meetings, trainings, and professional development opportunities related to behavioral support
