Desired Qualifications & Experience:

  • Valid RBT certification in good standing
  • Previous experience as a Paraprofessional or Registered Behavior Technician working with children in educational settings
  • Familiarity with individualized behavior intervention plans and data collection
  • Confidence collaborating with teachers, therapists, and other school staff
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Compassion, patience, and the ability to motivate and support children of differing abilities

Key Responsibilities:

  • Work one-on-one or in small groups to implement behavioral strategies under the supervision of Board Certified Behavior Analysts
  • Provide targeted academic and behavioral assistance to students with diverse needs as outlined in their individualized plans
  • Record and report on student progress and behavior to support data-driven decision making
  • Assist classroom teachers in fostering a safe and nurturing learning environment
  • Adapt support and interventions to best meet the needs of specific students throughout the school day
  • Contribute to team meetings and professional development as required
