Your experience working directly in schools, especially with younger children who benefit from personalized behavioral support, will be essential in this position. You’ll work closely with educational staff and collaborate with agency-provided BCBA supervision to ensure the best possible care and intervention strategies for your student.
Required Qualifications:
- Current and active Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) credential
- Prior experience in a school-based setting is strongly preferred
- Living within the local community; candidates local to the district are highly desired
- Preparedness to complete both district and agency onboarding processes, including fingerprinting
- Strong communication skills and ability to foster positive, collaborative relationships within the classroom
Responsibilities:
- Provide one-on-one ABA support to a kindergarten student in a special day class
- Implement behavioral intervention plans as guided by BCBA supervision
- Collect and document data regarding student progress and behaviors
- Maintain a therapeutic, encouraging environment conducive to learning and growth
