Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) | Hazel Green, Alabama

Embark on a meaningful contract opportunity as a Registered Behavior Technician supporting students in a collaborative school environment near Hazel Green, AL. This role spans from ASAP through May 28, 2027, and offers an engaging schedule of 35 hours per week. You’ll benefit from BCBA supervision provided by the district, enabling ongoing professional growth while helping students achieve their best.

Desired Experience & Qualifications:

• 1–2 years of hands-on experience as an RBT in a school setting
• Active or inactive (not expired) RBT certification—please note that expired certifications cannot be considered and all certifications will be verified through the BACB
• Comfortable working the full academic school schedule without late arrivals, early departures, or schedule modifications
• Experience with behavioral/classroom data collection
• Familiarity assisting students who may require physical intervention and bathroom or toileting support
• Reliable transportation to commit to the schedule as assigned

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver one-on-one and small group ABA interventions under district BCBA supervision
• Consistently track student progress, collecting and maintaining behavioral data as directed
• Collaborate with school staff and families to support individualized student needs
• Adapt to assignments provided 1–2 days before the start date, as placements may change frequently
• Uphold professional and ethical standards while maintaining a positive learning environment

This role provides a stable, full-time schedule with school-day hours, and compensation ranges from $24-25 per hour.
