Key Qualifications:

• Current certification as a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT)
• Experience implementing behavior intervention plans in school settings
• Strong commitment to ongoing professional development and renewal (RBT renewal eligibility required for NSY 26/27)
• Skill in working one-on-one and in group situations with children and adolescents
• Excellent communication, observation, and record-keeping abilities
• Ability to adapt quickly to changing environments and student needs

Primary Responsibilities:

• Provide individualized behavioral support under the direction of Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs) and other supervising professionals
• Implement evidence-based interventions to help students demonstrate appropriate behaviors and achieve academic/social goals
• Collect and document data on student progress and behavior
• Collaborate with classroom teachers, parents, and interdisciplinary teams
• Support students with transitions, de-escalation, and coping strategies as needed
• Participate in ongoing training, meetings, and required certification renewal activities
