Position Overview
A school district in the Hobbs, New Mexico area is seeking a dedicated Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) or Paraprofessional to support students in a collaborative classroom setting. This position focuses on small group instruction and behavioral support, helping students build academic and functional skills.

Primary Duties

Provide small group behavioral and instructional support within the classroom
Assist students with daily academic and social activities
Implement behavioral strategies and interventions as directed by the team
Work closely with teachers and support staff to ensure student success
Monitor and document student progress and behavior
Help create a structured and positive learning environment


Qualifications

Active RBT certification preferred (not required for paraprofessionals)
Experience working with children or in an educational setting strongly preferred
Familiarity with behavioral support strategies or ABA principles is a plus
Ability to work effectively as part of a school-based team
Strong communication and organizational skills
