Registered Behavior Technician - Honoraville, AL

Make a meaningful impact supporting students in a school environment as a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT). This contract opportunity offers both elementary and middle school assignments, tailored to your area of interest, whether working 1:1 with an individual student or in small group settings. We’re seeking three dedicated, full-time professionals who are passionate about fostering positive behavior change and helping young learners thrive.

Qualifications:

• Active RBT (Registered Behavior Technician) certification
• Previous experience with children or adolescents, preferably in a school or educational setting
• Strong understanding of behavior intervention plans and Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) strategies
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Reliability and the ability to work both independently and as part of a collaborative team
• Flexibility to adapt to various student needs and school environments

Responsibilities:

• Implement behavior treatment plans under the supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA)
• Provide direct support to students, either in 1:1 or small group settings, as assigned
• Collect data on student progress and report findings to supervising staff
• Collaborate with teachers, school staff, and families to ensure continuity of care and effective interventions
• Assist students with social, behavioral, and academic skills as needed throughout the school day
• Uphold confidentiality and professional standards at all times
