Embark on a meaningful contract opportunity supporting high school students in a dynamic behavioral program. This role offers the chance to make a real difference at a specialized school setting, working closely with students who benefit from expert guidance and support.
As a Registered Behavior Technician, you’ll be an integral part of the team, helping implement individualized behavior plans designed by a BCBA, while delivering compassionate care in a high-energy environment. The position is full-time from 7:30 am to 2:55 pm, following the school calendar through May 28th, with potential for ongoing opportunities.
Desired Skills & Experience:
- Active RBT certification (required)
- Prior experience with behavioral interventions in school or similar settings
- Solid understanding of behavioral strategies and data collection
- Adaptable—willingness to adjust to changes and shift locations within the school as needed
- Ability to maintain professionalism and confidentiality in all student interactions
- Completion of MO fingerprinting process (candidate responsible for fee)
- Comfortable collaborating with BCBAs, educators, and school administrators
Key Responsibilities:
- Work one-on-one and with groups of high school students implementing behavior intervention plans
- Collect and document behavior data accurately
- Contribute to a positive, structured, and safe learning atmosphere
- Maintain flexibility to adapt to possible location or assignment changes throughout the school year
