Registered Behavior Technician in Inman, SC

You'll work directly with an elementary-aged male student, utilizing your skills in implementing behavioral interventions and providing support for positive student outcomes. This part-time role runs from 8:45 to 10:15 daily, with a strong likelihood of increased hours as needs develop—making it an excellent match for anyone seeking a flexible start.

Key Qualifications:

• Active Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) credential required
• Previous experience in a school environment is highly preferred
• Skilled in behavioral intervention techniques, verbal redirection, and de-escalation strategies
• Experience working with work avoidance behaviors and addressing aggression, especially when escalated
• Comfortable managing a 2:1 student-to-technician ratio
• Able to provide two professional references, including a BCBA reference

Primary Responsibilities:

• Implement behavioral intervention plans under BCBA supervision for an elementary male student
• Utilize verbal redirections and proactive strategies to address work avoidance and manage escalated behaviors
• Document progress and collaborate with school team and BCBA for consistent, quality care
• Foster a supportive environment that enables growth, learning, and independence for students
• Communicate effectively with staff and guardians as needed regarding student progress
