A full-semester contract opportunity is available for a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) or Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to support a K-12 behavior classroom in Jacksonville, AL. This specialized role involves managing a dedicated classroom designed similarly to an occupational therapy room, where students come in for behavioral support throughout the day. The position is full-time, approximately 6 hours per day, Monday through Friday, with an immediate start date.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct behavioral interventions and support within a dedicated behavior classroom.
  • Monitor and manage student progress throughout the day in a one-room setting.
  • Collaborate with supervising BCBA if serving in an RBT capacity, ensuring proper oversight and adherence to behavioral plans.
  • Maintain accurate data collection and documentation in compliance with grant requirements.
  • Foster a positive, structured learning environment conducive to student success.

Qualifications:

  • Certification as a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) or Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA).

  • Ability to work independently and handle an all-day behavioral support classroom.
  • Strong communication skills and collaboration with supervising staff.
