Position Overview
The School District is seeking compassionate, dependable, and student-centered Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs) to support students with behavioral, emotional, developmental, and cognitive needs across multiple educational settings. This position works collaboratively with special education staff, teachers, behavior specialists, and administrators to provide direct behavioral support and intervention services for students ranging from elementary through high school age.
Students supported may demonstrate a variety of behavioral and learning needs including:
Mild behavioral redirection needs
Elopement behaviors
Emotional regulation challenges
Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD)
Cognitive and developmental disabilities
Communication and social skill deficits
Behavioral escalation and crisis intervention needs
The ideal candidate is patient, adaptable, trauma-informed, and passionate about helping students succeed academically, socially, and behaviorally within the school environment
