Make a meaningful difference in the lives of students as a Registered Behavior Technician in a school environment. This contract role offers the opportunity to support students across elementary, middle, and high school levels in a dynamic and collaborative educational setting. You’ll provide essential 1:1 behavioral support and implement individualized treatment plans developed by Board Certified Behavior Analysts.
Key Qualifications & Experience:
- Active RBT certification required
- Experience working in school settings preferred
- Comfort working with students from elementary through high school
- Strong interpersonal skills and patience when working with children and adolescents
- Ability to follow behavior intervention plans and data collection protocols
- Collaborative mindset to work alongside teachers, therapists, and families
Primary Responsibilities:
- Deliver 1:1 behavioral interventions and reinforcement strategies to assigned students
- Collect and accurately record data on student progress according to established plans
- Collaborate with teachers, special education staff, and behavior analysts
- Contribute to developing a positive, inclusive school climate
- Participate in required meetings, trainings, and professional development
- Support students’ social, emotional, and academic growth throughout their school day
