Elementary 1:1 Registered Behavior Technician in Killington, VT

Make a meaningful difference in the lives of students as a Registered Behavior Technician in a school environment. This contract role offers the opportunity to support students across elementary, middle, and high school levels in a dynamic and collaborative educational setting. You’ll provide essential 1:1 behavioral support and implement individualized treatment plans developed by Board Certified Behavior Analysts.

Key Qualifications & Experience:

• Active RBT certification required
• Experience working in school settings preferred
• Comfort working with students from elementary through high school
• Strong interpersonal skills and patience when working with children and adolescents
• Ability to follow behavior intervention plans and data collection protocols
• Collaborative mindset to work alongside teachers, therapists, and families

Primary Responsibilities:

• Deliver 1:1 behavioral interventions and reinforcement strategies to assigned students
• Collect and accurately record data on student progress according to established plans
• Collaborate with teachers, special education staff, and behavior analysts
• Contribute to developing a positive, inclusive school climate
• Participate in required meetings, trainings, and professional development
• Support students’ social, emotional, and academic growth throughout their school day
