This full-time, contract opportunity is based near Knoxville, TN and offers the chance to utilize your expertise as a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) or Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) in a dynamic school setting.
Qualifications and Preferred Experience:
- Active BCBA certification or RBT credential
- Experience working with students with disabilities, ideally in K-12 settings
- Strong knowledge of best practices in behavioral intervention and data collection
- Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities with students, families, and staff
- Collaborative approach to working within multidisciplinary teams
- Commitment to fostering positive, inclusive learning environments
- Ability to develop, implement, and monitor behavior intervention plans
Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough behavioral assessments and functional analyses as appropriate
- Create, implement, and oversee individualized intervention plans to address student needs
- Train and support school staff and teachers in delivering behavioral strategies and collecting accurate data
- Monitor progress and adjust interventions to meet ongoing student needs
- Collaborate closely with educators, specialists, and parents to ensure alignment on student programming and goals
- Prioritize least restrictive environment outcomes for students, promoting independence and inclusion
- Maintain detailed records and compliance documentation
