Seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) to work 1:1 with a first-grade student for the 2026-2027 school year. This contract position offers an engaging opportunity to make a meaningful difference in a school setting from August 2026 through June 2027, with weekly hours ranging from 32.5 to 37.5.
Ideal candidates are passionate about supporting students’ social, emotional, and behavioral growth in a learning environment. This role involves working closely with the student, educators, and related service providers to implement individualized behavior intervention plans and foster a positive classroom experience.
Key Qualifications:
- Active Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification, maintained and in good standing.
- Experience working with young children in educational or therapeutic settings, especially in a one-on-one capacity.
- Knowledge of ABA principles, data collection, and progress monitoring.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills with both students and school staff.
- Flexibility, patience, and a commitment to student-centered care.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Provide individualized behavioral support to a first-grade student as directed by the supervising BCBA.
- Implement and track behavior intervention plans, collecting data to measure student progress.
- Collaborate with classroom teachers and school personnel to promote generalization of skills.
- Model and reinforce positive behaviors while supporting academic and social integration.
- Maintain confidentiality and adhere to ethical guidelines as required by role and district.
