Registered Behavior Technician in Lakewood, WA

Make a lasting impact as a Full-Time Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) providing vital support to children in an elementary setting near Lakewood, WA. You'll deliver 1:1 Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) therapy to students with autism and related developmental disabilities, working closely with a dedicated team to foster skill development and positive behavioral change.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide individualized ABA therapy under the guidance of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA)
• Follow and implement treatment plans tailored to each student’s needs
• Collect session data and maintain detailed, accurate documentation
• Support behavior reduction and skill acquisition programs
• Communicate effectively with supervisors, caregivers, and team members
• Attend mandatory trainings, supervision sessions, and team meetings
• Demonstrate professionalism and uphold ethical standards at all times

Desired Qualifications:

• Current Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification required
• High school diploma or equivalent is essential; associate’s or bachelor’s degree preferred
• Prior experience with children is helpful, though not a prerequisite
• Excellent organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills
• Reliable transportation and a valid driver’s license (required if travel between sites)
• Ability to pass a background check and fulfill state-mandated requirements
