Registered Behavior Technician in Lees Summit, MO

Embark on a rewarding contract opportunity supporting high school students as a Registered Behavior Technician in a specialized behavior-focused environment. This role is located near Lees Summit, MO, with an assignment running from ASAP through May 28th. You'll have the chance to make a significant impact while collaborating with dedicated educators and behavioral specialists to provide essential ABA services.

Key Qualifications:

• Current, active RBT certification required
• Strong background working in school-based or behavioral settings
• Previous experience supporting students with behavioral and emotional needs
• Willingness to undergo fingerprinting (at the candidate’s expense)
• Adaptability to shifting assignments and environments throughout the year

Primary Responsibilities:

• Deliver one-on-one behavioral support and implement behavior intervention plans with high school students
• Work closely with supervising BCBAs, teachers, and school staff to monitor and track student progress
• Adapt strategies in response to changing needs and help create a positive, productive classroom environment
• Maintain accurate documentation and support smooth collaboration with the multidisciplinary team
