Desired Skills & Experience:

  • Active BCBA certification or active RBT credential required
  • Previous school-based experience is highly valued, particularly in K-12 settings
  • Strong understanding of behavior intervention plans (BIPs) and functional behavior assessments (FBAs)
  • Proficiency in data collection and progress monitoring
  • Collaborative approach with teachers, administrators, and multidisciplinary teams
  • Clear written and verbal communication skills
  • Passion for fostering inclusive learning environments and promoting student independence

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct assessments and develop interventions to help improve LRE for SWD
  • Collaborate with school teams to develop, implement, and refine behavior support plans
  • Provide hands-on support and coaching to staff overseeing SWD
  • Collect, analyze, and track student data to inform progress and adapt strategies
  • Facilitate training sessions for staff and educators on best practices in behavior management
  • Maintain detailed documentation, reporting, and compliance with district and state requirements
