Essential Qualifications:
- Active Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification
- Experience working with children or adolescents, ideally in a school or educational setting
- Solid understanding of ABA (Applied Behavior Analysis) principles and techniques
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to implement behavior intervention plans under the supervision of a BCBA
- Compassion, patience, and a commitment to helping students thrive
- Reliable organizational skills and attention to detail
- Flexibility to adapt to changing classroom needs
Key Responsibilities:
- Carry out one-on-one or small group ABA sessions with students, following prescribed behavior plans
- Collect accurate and timely behavioral data
- Collaborate with teachers, therapists, school staff, and families
- Assist in developing and reinforcing positive behavioral supports
- Participate in team meetings and ongoing professional development
- Foster a positive, supportive classroom environment for diverse learners
