Step into an engaging contract opportunity supporting students with moderate to severe impairments in an educational environment near Lincolnshire, IL. This position involves working collaboratively with school teams, providing essential one-on-one or small group behavior support, and creating a positive impact daily.
The ideal candidate will possess strong skills as a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT), and preferably hold a bachelor’s degree. Flexibility is a plus—being open to subbing as needed will be valued.
Qualifications and Preferred Experience
- Current Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification required
- Bachelor’s degree strongly preferred
- Experience working with students with moderate to severe impairments
- Ability to collaborate professionally with staff, students, and families
- Comfortable stepping in as a substitute when needed
- Strong communication and adaptability skills
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver behavior-analytic services and supports under the supervision of a BCBA
- Assist students to increase independence and positive behaviors in the classroom
- Implement individualized behavior intervention plans (BIPs) with consistency and compassion
- Collect and record data on student progress and behavior outcomes
- Provide support during academic and non-academic activities, including transitions and routines
- Maintain clear communication with the educational team regarding student needs and progress
Role Details
- Full-time schedule: Monday through Friday, 7:55 AM to 3:40 PM, following student attendance days
- Contract position within a supportive school environment
