Qualifications and Experience:
- Active Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification required
- At least 2 years of recent experience working in a school setting as an RBT
- Current CDE or COOL license
- Ability to work effectively in both 1:1 and classroom settings
- Strong collaboration and communication skills
- Comfortable working with K-12 students, including those with behavioral challenges
- Reliable, flexible, and adept in multitasking across settings
What You'll Do:
- Provide direct behavioral support and intervention to students as assigned, including 1:1 assistance and floating coverage across grade levels
- Utilize evidence-based strategies and data collection to drive student progress
- Collaborate with classroom teachers, support staff, and other RBTs to implement and monitor behavior plans
- Support a safe, inclusive, and encouraging learning environment
- Foster student independence and skill development
- Travel between assigned sites as needed within the school network
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation
