Registered Behavior Technician in Longmont, CO

Exciting opportunity for an experienced Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) or paraprofessional to support elementary students in an intensive learning center for autism. This part-time, onsite position offers consistent hours each week and the chance to positively impact the lives of young learners in a collaborative school environment.

Key Qualifications:

• Currently certified or previously certified as a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT); not suitable for those in training or requiring BCBA supervision
• At least two years of direct experience working in a public school special education classroom (training facility or private experience not eligible)
• Demonstrates adaptability, teamwork, and commitment to inclusive education
• Reliable transportation required for consistent attendance
• Available to work approximately 11:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m. on all student attendance days, with 2–3 days allocated for training over the school year

Key Responsibilities:

• Implement individualized behavior plans and instructional strategies for students with autism in an intensive learning setting
• Collaborate closely with the Principal, Special Education Director, and classroom team to deliver high-quality support
• Track student progress, behavior data, and communicate effectively with staff and other stakeholders
• Foster a supportive, safe, and engaging classroom environment
• Maintain professionalism and flexibility while supporting diverse student needs
